The Rose Quarter, Oregon’s premier sports and entertainment venue, is adopting a new customer service philosophy: “How You Doin’?”
The new approach begins with a simple question, “How You Doin’?”, but it’s more than that. It’s going above and beyond, treating guests the way they want to be treated. It’s all about giving guests the ultimate sports
and entertainment experience and it's also a way of measuring how the Rose Quarter is performing.
Every guest is a “Most Valuable Player!” We will do what it takes to makes guests have the best possible experience each and every trip to the Rose Quarter. We consider each guest to be like family!
Our new guest service philosophy encourages all of our employees to ask each guest:- “How You Doin’?”
- Engage in conversation with guests
- Assist guests with their needs
- Make guest experiences enjoyable

Employees who excel in guest service will receive rewards and recognition for their special efforts. Rewards will include gift certificates, tickets, trips and other great opportunities.
Guests are also encouraged to participate by nominating employees who exemplify the “How You Doin’?” philosophy. Guests can nominate an employee for recognition by visiting the Guest Services Information Booths.
Guest who participate in the recognition process will also be rewarded with drawings for prizes.
The “How You Doin’?” program will allow us to continuously find out how our guests are doin’ – and how the Rose Quarter is doin’!
