What:                   The excitement and overwhelming demand from fans fortickets to Carrie Underwood’s headline tour, the “Carnival Ride Tour,” is nosurprise and will come to the Rose Garden on Monday, November 17^th.

Nearly 600,000 fans have been a part of the “CarnivalRide Tour” audience to date. Underwood will hit 51 cities in the U.S. and Canada this fall, inaddition to her wrapping the current leg with opening act Jason Michael Carrollending June 24. She will also play a select number of fairs and festivals thissummer.

Carrie Underwood was recently inducted as the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry andnamed Top Female Vocalist at the2008 Academy of Country Music Awards for the second consecutive time.�Her current album Carnival Ride, which contains the #1 co-written smash hits “SoSmall,” “All-American Girl” and “Last Name,” was certified double-platinumwithin 2 months of its release. Her debut album, Some Hearts, was certified 7x-Platinum, becoming thebest-selling solo female country debut in RIAA history and surpasses all otherreleases as the all-time U.S. top-selling album by any American Idolcontestant.

Little Big Town released platinum-selling record, The Road To Here,  in 2005which included gold digital certified, "Boondocks."�In 2006, the foursome landed two Grammynominations including Best Country Album for The Road To Here and Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group for“Boondocks.” Billboard Magazine also named them Independent Artist of theYear and named The Road To HereIndependent Album of the Year. Rose Quarter

The Rose Quarter in Portland, OR is owned by anaffiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers and managed by Global Spectrum. TheRose Quarter includes 20,000-seat Rose Garden, 12,000-seat Memorial Coliseum,6,500-seat Theater of the Clouds, 40,000-square foot Exhibit Hall and the RoseQuarter Commons. Rose Quarter Ranked #1 in Number of Shows,#3 in Attendance and #8 in Total Gross

In the December 2006 issue of Venues Today, the Rose Quarter not only was ranked eighth in theworld for venues with a capacity of 15,001-30,000 for the year, it also won the2006 Hall of Headlines Booking title. The Rose Quarter has had more events (notincluding Trail Blazers games, Winter Hawks games, and other select events)than any other venue in its category with 191 and boasts the third largestattendance with 872,208.
