Join us for the most important celebration for the Hispanic community, El Grito NW! Saturday September 15, 2018, from 11 A.M. to 11 P.M. at the Rose Quarter Commons.

Entry is free and the party begins Saturday September 15th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. and continues until 11:00 p.m.

National Hispanic Heritage Month begins on Sept. 15th and throughout the month, many important holidays are celebrated. September 15th itself is a very important day: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua celebrate their independence on that day. On September 16th, we celebrate Mexican Independence and on September 18th, we celebrate Chile’s independence.

In addition to folkloric and Aztec dancers and live mariachi, salsa, cumbia, and pop music, the event will include food and beverages for sale, community booths, vendors, and the Mexican tradition known as El Grito de Independencia.
