Rip City Ale Fest Returns for Fourth Year of Local Craft Beer, Art, and Basketball

Join the Portland Trail Blazers for a pre-game beer tasting event! On Sunday, April 1, the Fourth Annual Rip City Ale Fest is back at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. No April Fools jokes here! A ticket to Rip City Ale Fest includes a tasting mug and ten tasters from a wide variety of local craft breweries including 10 Barrel Brewing, Widmer Brothers, Atlas Cider Co., Hop Valley Brewing, Pyramid Brewing and more. A Rip City Ale Fest ticket also includes entry to the Trail Blazers game as they take on the Memphis Grizzlies at 6 p.m. at Moda Center. Guests must be 21 years or older to purchase tickets for Rip City Ale Fest.

In addition to local brews, there will be a showcase of the entire Gameday Poster Series, where the Trail Blazers teamed up with local artists to create unique poster designs for each home game that represent Portland’s match-up against the opposing team. Only 100 copies of these limited-edition prints are produced each game, with proceeds benefiting the Trail Blazers Foundation.

With the showcase of the Gameday Poster Series, fans will have the opportunity to purchase any remaining posters to add to their collection for $10 each and meet the artists that designed them. There will also be a silent auction to bid on artist proofs of each poster, including sold-out posters. All proceeds from the silent auction benefit the Trail Blazers Foundation, helping community programs that assist local underserved children and families.
